Translate right on the video page — no link copying

Open a video and press Translate in the player. It counts down to when playback can start, so you can switch tabs and come back — the dub and translated subtitles play in the original player.

Three steps, video never leaves its page

After that one click there is nothing to watch: the countdown and progress live on the player, you go do something else, and a desktop notification tells you when the whole video is done.

The player keeps counting down to when playback can start. The button turns green once you can listen, and a desktop notification lands when the whole video is done.

YouTube and Bilibili, one button

Both sites work the same way: press Translate in the player, watch progress in Chrome's side panel. One task list for both — cancel or retry anything from there.

No downloading, no swapping, just one extra audio track

The picture, the seek bar, the player — all still the site's own. WaveShift layers an AI audio track and subtitles on top, and that is all. Here is everything it actually touches.

Your WaveShift account

The dubbing comes out of your minutes, so you sign in first. The Store build reads no cookies at all — it never sees your YouTube or Bilibili login.

YouTube / Bilibili pages

It checks which video you have open so it can put the Translate button in the player, and keeps up when you switch videos without a reload.

Where the dub comes from

The finished audio track and subtitles are fetched from WaveShift's own domain and play right in the original player.

Choose an install path

Most people want the Store build — it updates itself. Reach for the manual package if the store is out of reach, or if Bilibili refuses an anonymous import: it can carry on using your Bilibili login in this Chrome.

Unzip, enable Developer mode at chrome://extensions, then load the unpacked folder.

Only ever used for Bilibili tasks: it encrypts and sends three values — SESSDATA, bili_jct and DedeUserID — for that one task, and touches no other cookie.
